Bart La Marr is a registered Quarter Horse gelding that we owned from the time he was 3 years old until he was 13. We then sold him to some wonderful people named John and Lin from Kennebunk. They have loved, ridden and enjoyed him for the past 3 years. He now has developed a bone chip in his knee and needs light consistant work so John and Lin have sent him home to us to enjoy and use during his retirement. He is a great horse as you will see from the pictures below. There is nothing this horse can't do and do well. He raced as a 2 year old. Then he was used for roping clinics. Then he came to us and we put him on barrels. He was MeBRA Barrel Racing Champion many times and was also Pole Bending Champion. We trail rode, Team Penned, gave riding lessons, rode English, Western and bridleless. John taught him to jump and took him on a couple of Fox Hunts. He is truly one of the few "GREAT HORSES" that I have ever had the privilidge of knowing. |
